She's known Pitch a while now. Not so long that she knows everything about him or he her, but long enough that she trusts him and his opinions. When was the first time they'd spoken? She doesn't know for sure. It had been sometime during her and Nico's stay at their last boarding school, before she had found out she was a demigod. He'd been lurking in the shadows, and she had ended up talking to him for a while. It wasn't until after she had arrived at Camp Half Blood that she found out he was a spirit. Not Greek, but that didn't matter much to her. Everything else had been so new, so she hadn't been surprised to find out there was more out there, outside the Greed gods and spirits.
Tonight, she's out looking for Pitch. Not for one of their normal chats, but for something a little more serious. Zoe and the others are going on a quest, and want to take Bianca along. It's not that she doesn't want to go, she just...doesn't think she's ready. She barely knows how to fight, doesn't know her godly parent. Not to mention the sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach, like maybe something bad will happen, if she goes along. The prophecy had been pretty bleak, after all, and it sounds like a lot of people won't be coming back.
She reaches the edge of the camp, near it's border. Within the grounds, it's a constant summer. But she can see the snow beyond, coating the trees outside the invisible line that separated the camp from the rest of the world. With a quick look around, to make sure no one's following her, Bianca steps over the boundary line, her feet packing the undisturbed snow with a crunch.
"Pitch? You there?" She asks, peering into the shadows.
